Ghanaian Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Eric Owusu-Boateng met with Governor-General of Hamedan Province, western Iran, on Wednesday.
He said that Ghana’s Foreign Ministry was willing to strengthen and expand foreign ties with different countries, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He noted that the fact that Iran sees Ghana as the first African country to expand foreign trade with was of high significance for the Ghanaian Government.
Owusu-Boateng was heading a delegation to Hamedan Province for a two-day visit at the invitation of Hamedan Commerce Chamber.
